In 1986, anti-imperialist political analyst Dr. Michael Parenti gave a lecture at University of Colorado that still rings true today.

Unfortunately, the only footage of that lecture available today is a yellow-stained video recorded on tape that has been left to the elements. While the speech has earned a certain fame and is affectionately referred to as the "yellow speech" by fans due to the discolouration, it wasn't a true representation of what was filmed that day (since the artefacts came later through exposure).

Over the course of 48 hours, I did my best to restore the original footage as accurately as possible. Some interpretation is however required at some steps, and so it can never be an actual restoration.

Work done on this footage includes:

* Removing the humming noise, boosting bass (audio remaster).
* Correcting colour, saturation, contrast, exposure.
* Correcting lens distortion.
* Using AI to denoise, deblock and sharpen the image.
* Using AI to upscale the video to 720p.
* Converting aspect ratio to 16:9.

I hope that with this remaster, more people will get to watch this speech in whole and be introduced to Dr. Parenti.
